Help Me Celebrate You and This Blog

Against all odds, this highly inconsistent blog is close to reaching 500 followers. It is also reaching its third anniversary, though I can’t recall when the exact date is until I check. How did this happen? I seriously have no clue.

So what should I do? I’m asking everyone now because I was busy last year and totally pretended the latest anniversary and milestone didn’t happen, so maybe I should try to make up for that. After all, you all stuck around to read my infrequent and sporadic posts. (Giving my latest followers YouDeserveGod.com or naturalskincarelove the benefit of the doubt that they keep up too.)

Previously, I have thanked individual people by name (when I had few enough followers for that), did song covers (which still make me blush), and just gushed my thanks all over the place. What’s next?

  6. Maybe take recommendations from your followers (anime-only if you want to stick to your theme, or anything if you’re game for it), grab a random number generator and watch what you’re dealt…it’ll be interesting!

    Anyways, congrats on your upcoming milestones.

    1. I’m fairly baffled myself. I guess I do follow new blogs from time to time, and if they generally blog about similar things, they tend to follow back. Consistent blog-reading is definitely one aspect I’ll have to keep working on though!

  15. Congratulations Moya, most bloggers do not last this long at WordPress.com from my experiences, and so that alone is an achievement.

    Maybe you could look at your all-time WordPress.com stats and share what some of your most popular posts & pages, clicks, referrers, commentors, countries, search terms, et cetera are.

    1. Thank you, John Jr! Stats are certainly fun. I’m thinking I might save most of that for the end of the year, but perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to give people a glimpse of the (rather unexciting) stats in advance.

        Btw, I watched Angel’s Egg thanks to your suggestion and absolutely loved it. In fact, I’m tempted to call it the best film I’ve seen all year!

Chris Stuckmann mentioned that in his video about this movie, that was my own thought as well, and that was part of my own crazy personal interpretation that I did of this movie during a moment of depression et cetera; I actually found my note of my crazy personal interpretation years later, and I made a blog post about it.
